Vol. 2: OP-Z is the second collaborative album from Dial Up Records. The connecting thread through these fourteen tracks is the tiny synth we used to make them. Each song was made with the teenage engineering OP-Z, which we biked, walked, and subway-ed to each other in the fall and winter of 2021-2022.

These collaborative synth albums started as a pandemic idea, but even now, when some things have changed and others have stayed the same, sharing creative constraints proves itself to be endlessly rewarding. Here's to many more years.

Synth Library NYC is a musical lending library of synthesizers, recording equipment, modular gear and other electronic musical instruments. They are committed to democratizing access to music technology and putting the means of production into the hands of those under-represented in these fields/who may not otherwise be able to afford.
