e9sands This is such a cool idea for a project, and the songs live up to the premise. All of these artists are so talented and they made compelling, cathartic songs. Especially this year, the existence of this project, at the level of quality with which it was produced, is welcome and inspiring. Favorite track: Heart Attack - Kevin Holliday.

about

100% of proceeds donated to @publicassistants

Vol. 1: The Organelle is a collaborative album made by Brooklyn* musicians. The connecting thread through these twelve, diverse tracks is the instrument we used to make them.  Each song was made with the same synth, which we biked, walked, and subwayed to each other this winter. We want to create together, even when we are apart.

Album art: Declan Moy Bishow
Mastering: Justin Hrabovsky
Synthesizer: The Organelle by Critter & Guitari
Released by: Beth Townsend & Meg West

Every purchase of the digital album comes with a downloaded booklet of quotes from each artist, photos, and more information about the project.
